The device memory in eBus devices is for storage of historic measured values and event. As a rule it is as a ring memory designed and can have different size depending on device type. With the software visual energy Starter or Busmaster, the Device memory can be readout, shown and process as a CSV Export.
Following Device memory are available, depending on device type:

Normally the Busmaster is configured, that the device memory for the energy data cyclical automatic read out.
Device memory manual read out
- Navigate to the desired device and select there the tab ‘Device memory’.
- Depending on the device type, per each memory an own tab is shown. Select the desired memory.
- Use the button
to read the data out of the measure device.
Delete Device memory
Especially after commissioning, it can be necessary to reset the device memory.
Load profile data, operating hours, meter readings
- Navigate to the desired device.
- You can use in the toolbar the button for device specific commands.

- Navigate to the desired device.
- Select the tab ‘Device memory’
- Use the button
in the toolbar
Logbook
The Logbook cannot be deleted.
