SecureF is a process developed by KBR to monitor the fuseways. The function is executed on the Busmaster (system centers). It comprises the following functions:

| Early warning / information | Periodical reading of the average value of the outer current conductors. Depending on the fuse to be monitored, an individually adjustable % value of the fuse size can be monitored. If the % limit is exceeded, the SecureF early warning is triggered. |

| Warning | Periodical reading of the instantaneous values of the outer current conductors. If the fuse size is exceeded for a longer period than defined for the parameter ‘Inertia’, the SecureF warning is issued. |
|
| Error | Periodical reading of the instantaneous values of the line voltages. If the voltage PH-N instantaneous value is below the value of the parameter ‘Trigger voltage’ AND the corresponding outer conductor current is zero, the SecureF fault ‘Fuse blown’ is issued. |

Restriction
The times that can be adjusted are minimum times. Depending on the setting and configuration, it can take several seconds until new information reaches the bus master.
Version 4.6 and higher:
- The system only detects a ‘Fuse blown’ state if the voltage falls below the limit and the corresponding current is <1.
Version 4.6 R1 and higher:
- With the ‘Inertia’ parameter, brief exceedances, for example when the motor is started, can be excluded from the alarm. You can set an individual time from 1 to 60 seconds.
- The switch groups are assigned automatically.
The following KBR eBus devices support this process:
- multicount (all Types)
- multimess F96
- multimess F144
- multimess D4 (operation at the multisio D6)
- multimess D6
secureF configuration
- Make sure that the SecureF function is activated in the ‘Automation’ properties at each eBus master location. You can also activate the e-mail notification function here.
- To configure the individual fuse monitoring, proceed as follows:Currently, configuration is made in the device settings (->eBus master). For the future, it is planned to enable configuration by selecting a corresponding fuse element in the distribution view. Navigate to the corresponding device and open the device settings dialog. If the device supports SecureF processes, the corresponding properties page is displayed:
Please note that the secureF function has been activated at this eBus master Location. You can also define what happens if the fuse blows. In addition to sending an e-mail, you can also issue the respective event through the relays of a Switch group:
